BSB30120 – CERTIFICATE III IN BUSINESS

This qualification reflects the role of individuals in a variety of Business Services job roles. It is likely that these individuals are establishing their own work performance.

Individuals in these roles carry out a range of routine procedural, clerical, administrative or operational tasks that require technology and business skills. They apply a broad range of competencies using some discretion, judgment, and relevant theoretical knowledge. They may provide technical advice and support to a team.

This qualification will be delivered over 52 weeks, including 40 weeks of training and assessment spread over 4 terms of 10 weeks each and 12 weeks of holidays.

This program is a mixed-mode delivery, 14 hours in the classroom and 6 hours of structured self-study.

Australian Global College has the following entry requirements:

Domestic students:

  • Be at least 18 years of age.
  • Have completed Year 12 or equivalent.

Language, literacy, and numeracy (LLN) skill sufficient to complete the course, for example, to read materials relevant to the course, participate in discussions and roleplays and apply numerical concepts such as time management.

International students:

  • Must be 18 years old or over.
  • Completed year 12 or equivalent.
  • Minimum score of 5.5 – IELTS, 46 – TOEFL, 42 – PTE, 47 CAE, OET Pass, score or equivalent.

Potential employment options are in a range of business roles in a range of industry areas. Students who complete this course may wish to continue their education into the BSB40120 Certificate IV in Business or a range of Certificate IV qualifications.

Students may apply for recognition of existing qualifications or skills, knowledge, and experience (credit transfer or recognition of prior learning). The granting of course credit may affect course fees as well as the duration of the course.
