Australian Global College Facilities & Services:

Australian Global College is located in the heart of Sydney offering the following facilities and services:

Student Support Services:

Australian Global College ensures that you have the opportunity for your study and life experience in Australia to be positive and memorable. During this life experience there will be some exciting new life and learning experiences you want to embrace and others that may be culturally difficult for you to understand. Make sure you make the most of this opportunity and let us know if you need any other support that may not currently be offered.

To provide students with the right person to go to for help and support, Australian Global College have appointed the following staff as the official points of contact for students:

  • Academic Manager is the Point of Contact for academic and student welfare issues. The student may go to the Academic Manager in all cases regarding their academic progression or hindrances and/or any matters related to supporting their personal welfare

  • Student Service Officer is appointed as the Point of Contact for non-academic issues. The student may go to the Student Service Officer in all cases regarding non-academic issues such as administration, finance, facilities, accommodation etc.


Australian Global College will use a combination of our own support services which are provided at no cost or we may refer you to external agencies for support.

Some of the support services we provide include but are not limited to:

  • Academic mentoring classes

  • Difficulties related to studying and learning

  • Financial difficulties assistance

  • Nervous anxiety disorder

  • Disability or medical condition

  • Visual impairment

  • Workshops on finding and applying for part time employment

  • Social programs to include any Australian cultural and celebratory events on the Sydney calendar such as Harmony Day, Vivid Festival, and multicultural events to celebrate the multicultural celebrations of the student body


Some referral services we assist you with at no cost for referral include but are not limited to:

  • counselling support

  • Medical Services

  • Legal Services

  • Emergency services

  • Housing/Accommodation Services referral

Some external support agencies may have a fee for the services they provide. The Academic Manager or Student Service Officer will help you to find out about the external services available. In the event that an external support service requires payment of a fee for services, this will be paid by the student.

Materials, Resources and Library Access

Australian Global College students are issued with learner guides for each unit of competency as stated in the Course Structure for their chosen course. Australian Global College also have laptops that students may borrow on campus only so that they can undertake research and work on their assessments using the Wi-Fi access.

Australian Global College students can also complete the online application to join the City of Sydney Library Service through the online website access at:

The conditions of membership are as follows:

  • Membership is free to all residents of New South Wales

  • Students must agree to abide by all City of Sydney Library Service policies and conditions of use and:

  • Accept responsibility for all items borrowed on the library card

  • Pay replacement costs plus processing charges for any items lost, stolen or damaged

  • Students must report lost/stolen cards to the City of Sydney Library Service immediately

  • Return borrowed items on or before the due date or check whether the item can be renewed

  • Respect the rights and security of staff and other library users

  • Notify the City of Sydney Library Service of any changes to contact details provided

 At AGC, the needs of our students are of our utmost priority. We have student officers, constantly onsite ready to assist with student issues, whether it’s concerning finance, struggles with studies and adaptation to our environment or simply an administration/enrolment issue we are here to help.​ Furthermore, we offer a pastoral care service, with staff members providing resources and a networking system to assist students with any obstacles they may encounter on their journey with AGC.

Finally, we pride ourselves on maintaining small student numbers in classes, to ensure that student and trainer interaction is maximised. There are no added distractions and we strive to satisfy each student’s individual needs as they arise.
